Upside to buying an arizona truck-no rust. Downside? Cracked plastic. So i want to replace my grey 02 dash as mine is separated at the seam in front of steering wheel. Is there a source for a replacement or a restoration vendor, or restoration write up? No-dont want a cheesy dash cover. Hmmm?

Mines not cracked and I got a cover. You can put feathers and pins in it. When someone asks why mine has not cracked I tell them “there’s whale in it”.

You want the dash pad? Does the pad come off the dash hull?

Pretty sure there will never be replacements made.

There are places that take an old dash pad, strip off the outer vinyl, rewrap it in new vinyl and color match it. This is NOT cheap.

Hey, mine is past cosmetics, I just need to anchor it--but really, my main issue is driving on forest roads, in and out of bright sunlight: suddenly the road ahead, and the precipice off the edge of it, disappears behind a reflection of the gray unicorn hide and the big crack in it, with the stuffing stickin' out. I danged near missed a curve today, and it was a long way down that hillside!
Rocinante (that's really my 4runner's name, not mine)
