Greeting from Kansas

Just sealed the deal on a new 2020 SR5 Premium this morning. After 230,000 bulletproof miles I decided it was time to upgrade from my Tundra. Bought my 2006 double cab from the same dealership December 2006 just a few days before Christmas and can still remember the tacky Christmas sweater the salesman was wearing when I went to pick it up. Great guy, poor choice in sweaters..

Anyway, we picked up a 2018 Limited for my wife a couple years ago and was surprised how much I enjoyed driving it. Never thought I'd move away from a truck but the 4runner checks a lot of boxes for me. Especially love the traditional feel and ease of maintenance (by today's standards at least) that I always loved in my Tundra. I have to admit I am a little nervous about not having a bed but looking forward to all the other perks a smaller 4x4 has to offer.

Pretty excited to pick it up and start making it my own, should be here by months end!

FYI for those looking. The dealership I use is pretty straight forward and the salesman was more than happy to share with me what he could see in his system. I can only speak for the Gulf States Distribution area, but it sounds like there is a fairly large shipment of 2020 4runners hitting the ground right now either ready to go or in process in Houston. Both SR5 and TRD premiums available. He said this was the last shipment of 2020's they are expecting and the next shipment in late August/early September should be 2021's. He is expecting the pricing and delivery info for the 2021's very soon as well for those looking to preorder a 2021 Pro.
