We took our 2023 TRD Pro to Automotive Protection Services in Fairfax, VA (Washington DC metro area) for undercoating and had a good experience there.

They use Noxudol 900 and their current price (late 2023) was $600. We also chose the "optional but recommended" cavity wax treatment for an additional $175. We do plan to take the truck for annual undercoating inspection and re-treatment ($80) to maintain the 10-year warranty.

They kept the truck for two days -- one day to treat it and a second full day to allow the undercoating to cure. Our truck is only a few months old and so I suspect they did not need to perform any rust mediation prior to the application.

Their customer service was very friendly and helpful.

    The company's website is https://apsrustandtint.com/

We have no affiliation with them and they did not ask me to provide any public review. We just wanted to share this good experience with the 4runner community.

    Hey there,

I live in the DMV and have been in contact with Automotive protective services in fairfax about this very treatment. Did you remove any of the skid plates before getting the work done? They told me they don't remove anything and if I wanted them to coat under the skid plates I'd have to pull them off before dropping the vehicle off. Thanks in advance!
