Gas pedal vibration when I turn

Hello! I just wanted everyone input on what my issue could be:

When I am making a turn, my gas pedal vibrates. I took my car into the dealership and a 30 year master mechanic said that the reason behind the vibration is the treads on my tires. How accurate is this? Do you guys think the tread could’ve cause this?

Eh, that doesn't sound right. I'm not a mechanic with 30yrs experience. But my Google-Searching-Fu is top shelf!






The second one sounds like the most reasonable cause. Check your power steering fluid level and see if there's any damage to the power steering components.

 

I just hope he wasn’t blowing smoke. I tend to leave it to the experts. As for my fluids, my power steering fluid was fine. I also took it in the same day to get a “whining” noise from my steering wheel checked out when it’s turned all the way left and right. He said there wasn’t an answer for that. He Checked me off and said everything was okay. Sucks because I only have 26k miles, and I drive very conservative. I’ve been real disappointed with my 4Runner experience so far.

 

My K02 tires set off a buzzing vibration I could feel in the steering wheel. I could imagine maybe even the gas pedal. Kinda felt it everywhere and heard it though. This happened after a ton of off road and highway miles on a road trip. I never imagined the steering on the 4runner to be quite that capable of transmitting the details of my tread condition lol.

Id say if it is your tires, you should hear or feel other cues telling you the tires are loud. But tires are known to be tricky though.
