Removed and went through cleaning process of all 6 injectors for my 3.0 3VZE and there is clearly an issue with them. I have one of the fuel injector harness connectors from a donor truck and hooked up to a battery with a special pressurized spray cleaner to flush out/clean these injectors. Some appear to be in good working order and others are clearly clogged up a bit. Any suggestions on making these work? Is it possible to take these apart and clean them up myself? Any suggestions on where to buy good reman units? These are all Denso and not aftermarket.

I am working on a 1995 4runner. Probably should have been turned into a parts vehicle but i am now too far in it to back out. I have the block and heads in the machine shop, the front differential is in the shop. Rear drive line being rebuilt with new factory parts. The body and interior are in really good condition but mechanically it has a lot to be desired but I'm getting there. I am also rebuilding the front end. Trying to decide weather or not to install a 4-5" lift kit. It came with 33" tires (which are new) and the rear springs and shocks have been changed but front is stock and the PO tried to level with torsion bar adjustment. Any input is appreciated.

Looking for some good guidance on injectors.

    Thank you all.

We took our injectors to an shop that specializes in cleaning injectors. Ours were a little damaged due to age and the plastic cups broke that seat them in the intake manifold. they aren't necessary except we then had to make a spacer with o-rings, so they were sealed and sat at the proper height.

Roger that. I kept working on these injectors and now have them all working properly. I made the decision and purchased the lift kit. Still don't have the motor components back or the front diff. assembly. Can't rush perfection!
