I’m pretty sure there’s a crack in my front windshield on my 23 4Runner with just 2.5k miles on it. It can only be seen with light hitting it. It’s about 4 inches long but there is no visible crack Does anyone know how much it would cost to replace and recalibrate the sensors?

My 2020 windshield was $1400 replaced. I paid $0 because I carry no deductible glass coverage

OEM windshields are expensive. Why not use your insurance deductible as @joshdub mentioned?

I wasn’t sure if my insurance covered it.

Check your policy under the comprehensive section. Some insurance companies include it and it's an add-on with others.

Remember, it may be a zero deductible, but it is a claim. Dont be fooled by it being free. Insurance never loses money on you.

Glass claims aren't typically a big deal. My premiums have only ever decreased and I have only had glass claims.

Okay. That is your insurance. I am sure everyones story is different. Every policy, drivers, types of vehicles, age of drivers and state is different.
    Regardless, it is a claim.

@frostytrd: some 4Runner windshields have a de-icer at the base. If yours does then make sure you get the right replacement.

Have a look at this thread.
