Front license plate

Hey guys,

Simple question here. I'm planing a trip across the country in a few months, and I was wondering If I would get in trouble for not using the front license plate.
Here in California it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal, but I'm not really sure about anywhere else.

Did you guys ever get in trouble with that?

 

Why don't you want to run with a front plate?

 

Only your home state cares if you run a front plate. I have a friend who's been driving without a front plate for close to 10 years stationed outside his home state, not one ticket.

 

No front plates for all my cars. Worse case it’s just a fix it ticket. I’ll put one on and sign it off. Then take it off.

 

Nebraska across I-80 is pretty strict. They see no front plate (our state is required & look @ you immediately). If you are traveling with questionable contents from state to state make sure you drive well through Nebraska! Our Governor is an ass & I-80 is a major corridor for trafficking.
Nothing to worry about if you drive smart.
