Front driver side door actuator

Has anyone had to replace their driver side door lock actuator? If so did you buy the part online? Also if you did who did you buy from and is it good?

 

what is your runners DOM ? older runners had your issue.some had to replace all..

@j cat Its a 2014 limited

 

not common on your DOM.. is it extreme cold out ? possible water got into it and iced it up..

rockauto has them on the cheap.... 35 bucks. the cause is water intrusion .. check window seals for damage / shrinking etc...
some did replace the motor that moves the locker. about 9 bucks ..

 

@j cat i live in Florida so no cold weather. I’ve looked online but I hear a lot of the brands out aren’t good.

 

@j cat also I’m hoping it is just the actuator. I have keyless entry and that’s the only door that doesn’t unlock.

 

well in florida it is a water corrosion issue. limited has auto locks no key control. It is a PITA to get in. I am in naples now. I do not wash my runner with tap water..

 

Got an OEM actuator from https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/ without any issues. They processed and shipped my order fast too.

 

I did buy parts from that website .. fast delivery ..
