    hello out there 4 runner friends,my name is Ed.I’m restoring my dads 1988 4Runner, new original color paint 138 gray metallic, fixing up some broken interior parts etc.He is battling prostate cancer,and me and my brothers and sister want to do something special for him.just having trouble finding an obsolete Toyota part#452873518003.it’s the lower plastic shroud for tilt steering column.appreciate any leads, thanks

    Thanks, he is a fighter and has a positive attitude while going through chemotherapy at the moment.worked hard all his life as a truck driver in Ca.tuff as they come!

    Welcome, and sorry to hear about your Dad. Cancer sucks. For the part, you might want to check with 4x4 and/or Toyota clubs near you. I'd be willing to bet that there's a lot of obscure parts sitting in bins at people's houses. I've got fifteen tubs or so of FJ40 parts that I've collected over the years, and I'm sure there's others like me but with Runner parts. Good luck finding your part, and hope your Dad does well in his fight.

    Thank you for words of encouragement,I will relay to Dad! The part I got from Toyota dealer is 452873518003 for lower tilt housing cover,but color is no issue, I can paint it.
