    2011 4Runner w/driveshaft disconnect
Driveshaft disconnect to tow behind motorhome
Hi all. I have a 2011 4runner that I have flat towed behind a class A motorhome for the last four years with a driveshaft disconnect. It has worked perfectly for 35,000 miles. Now the wife would like a newer 4runner with the backup camera and all of the other tech. To tow the front wheels must be unlocked. Is there any way to unlock the steering without a physical key on the newer models without starting the engine? We would like to buy a 2020 or newer two wheel drive that I will install the driveshaft disconnect on also. Any gotchas that I am not thinking about? Thanks for any help.
