First time 4runner owner (2022 TRD Pro)

Hey guys, I'm a first time 4runner owner living in Texas. In fact, this is my first SUV. I've wanted a TRD Pro since I was a teenager and I finally got one. Part of me wanted to wait for the new generation but when I caught wind that there may be changes to the engine, I wanted to go with the tried and true 5th gen.

Side note- I know that it makes more sense to get the Off Road trim level if I want to make major modifications but I went with the TRD Pro simply because it's something I've always wanted - wasteful? yeah probably . I don't really know what kind of modifications that I want to make yet to be honest. I've been doing a lot of research and I eventually want to turn this truck into an overland style rig and tour the US with it. It's been a dream of mine for a while.

Would love to hear from y'all and get some pointers on modifications, resources, does/don'ts. Anything helps.

I have 2021 black and love to make it like yours. Can you please tell how to get like your rims and roof rack?

 

They came stock from the dealership. I already have a new roof rack that I need to install. The TRD Pro roof rack looks cool but it's not very functional to be honest. I got the Front Runner slim line II but I have not installed it yet.

 

Love the black but not so good in the warmer states , had a Black 2016 living in Florida and I painted the roof white was just a DD , was just hot box … Great looking pro , I ended up with a Lime Rush
