The Underground color with the matching fender flares looks good IMHO. Navy interior is pretty sweet as well. Running boards, meh. Thanks for posting the pics and video!

Ya the body color matching looks better than the gloss black on the TRD Pro. And the dark navy interior is real nice too, especially the hexagon pattern in the seat centers.

I have looked at all the specs, only the Limited and Platinum have the option for the automatic running boards. Would really like a TRD Sport with the auto running boards but they are not available on that trim.
The painted flares are BY FAR better than the black flares. The gloss black flares stand out like a sore thumb and the flat black with etching detail flares look even worse. Painted flares by far look better across the trim levels, makes the vehicle appear much more finished. For $50,000+ for an SR5 you should get painted flares so the vehicle at least looks finished and not cheesy.

Definitely looks better with paint matched fender flares. The tires look too small for the fender openings and the 4Runner logo on the bottom of the rear hatch is weird. It’s hard to decipher the letters.
How much Monopoly money is this thing going to cost is the big question?

This area looks so bulky and ridiculous. Lmao

Def like the painted flares tho. Will definitely debadge the fuck out of this.

What is with this glued-on look? Did they run out of interior designers? Is it too much to ask for the screen to be integrated into console/dash?

Agreed. Interior looks a bit janky. The three split dials with the one dial between the two AC vents is hideous. Seriously, wtf were the designers thinking on that? Lmao

It looks like a bunch of random things from the parts bin all thrown together.

I'll probably like them when I start seeing them in person, but not even close to making me regret my 2024 that I plan to keep long-term. The bulletproof design of the 5th gen will keep me happy.

is it just me or is the emergency flasher button in a rather awkward location for driver to find and reach? The 5th gen has them prominently up front and center on the dash between two vents.

I used mine quite often when freeway traffic comes to a stand still so people behind me don't rear end me at speed.

Sadly that big long hood could probably accommodate a big V10 engine instead of the turbo 4.

I would prefer less hood space and more cabin space.

Same thought. Awkward to have buttons on both sides of each large dial.

Where everything melds together, I can't tell if that is that one giant molded bumper, or giant plastic sandwich of parts?

The fender flares are definitely a separate piece as usual. But I see part edges just below the headlight, and a part line between the lower part of grill and the grill it's on top of.

    Looks like

    Grill top piece (no color)
    Grill bottom piece (yellow)
    Fender (red)
    Fender flare (yellow)

    ?

I want that whole crap gone, replaced with a steel bumper and winch. If sensors are sacrificed so be it

I know what you mean, it looks like it's missing a chunk of the rear bumper. I know they did it for the hybrid battery pack but it looks awkward as heck.

Honestly, one of the ugliest vehicles i’ve ever seen. Nothing is cohesive. Every body panel looks chopped up and layered with weird angles. Wheel and tire package belongs on a Highlander. Front bumper arrives at your destination 5 minutes before you do. This is a garbage design.
