Finally upgraded after 20 years and 213K on my Gen3...

Been driving my trusty black '99 Gen3 SR5 for over 20 years (over 213K miles). Thing has been bomb proof with no major problems with the exception of replacing all 6 fuel injectors a couple of years ago. Was casually looking around for a clean Gen4 for the last few years - it would have to be black and preferably the Sport trim as I always loved the hood scoop but those are getting harder to find... Started looking at Gen5's as there are a lot of them out there now...but had a specific wish list in mind once I figured out all the trim options available from 2010-18. It would have to be black, SR5 Premium minimum to get all the creature features like heated seats or preferably a Trail Premium to get that hood scoop and the additional 4 wheeling features... Then I spotted a black Trail with some nice upgrades but was only going to take a looksee as I wasn't sure I was ready to jump all the way to a Gen5 and my old '99 was in great condition... Needless to say once I saw and drove it, it checked all the boxes and I'm now the proud owner of this badass Gen5! And although it was hard to do, I traded-in the old '99 Gen3 as part of the deal as the dealer really wanted it and gave me a great price for it.
