Faded Steering Wheel Controls

Has anyone figured out an easy fix for faded steering wheel controls on the 4Runner? I have a 2017 4Runner Limited and just ordered a new steering wheel (minus the controls and air bags) and my volume and seek buttons on the left side are completely worn off and are showing white underneath. I’m assuming options are new buttons (can’t find these anywhere), stickers (can only find for Mercedes), spray paint (sounds like a bad idea and then you lose white labels) or completely replacing the entire steering wheel control on both sides (expensive).

Any ideas??

Welcome from the center of the bourbon universe. Sorry I can't help with the control issue.

 

The buttons are pretty generic across most of Toyota line. Particularly Tacoma. I'd monitor ebay look for a cheap used control set that appears better than yours and swap out buttons.

 

Somebody on the forums recently replaced all the buttons, swapping silver for black. I can't remember who it was, but I think he said where they came from.

 

If yours looks like this, then you can have mine. I have the meso kit coming today that rearranges the up/down issue.

But you gotta pay for the shipping!
