I've replaced all 8 factory speakers with after market on my '22 ORP. Is there any reason to hold on to them? I'm inclined to just toss them, but would some future owner actually want them? I've also replaced the head unit, but will keep that as it can easily be re-installed if I ever needed to to that.

Toss them, they suck bad. However if you have or didn't use the brackets maybe keep those.

I kept my head unit too.

I went with Alpine X & R series component speakers, but I also went with an amp and new head unit which are needed for that type of speaker.

Anything is better than the OEM speakers and those seem like a good option without going all out like I did.

I recently changed my speakers to Infinity's running through the stock head unit.
The speakers are junk, toss them.
Hold on to the headunit in case you looking to sell in future and the new owner prefers the OEM look.

I put Infinity Reference 6X9 in front doors and 3 1/2" Coax in the dash. And JBL 6.5" GTOs in the rear doors and hatch, mainly because the screw holes line up perfectly with the adapters. Sound was much improved even with the stock head unit. Much better with the after market Alpine Halo 9. If you swap the speakers don't forget to do some vibration dampening.

I had to cut the dash brackets to get the 3 1/2" coax speakers to fit.

The factory speakers will be in the trash this week.
