Engine stops running while driving

So recently I been experiencing an issue with my 4runner that I need to fix right away. My problem is when I start up my vehicle and drive it around the engine shuts off completely and I'm just rolling till I come to a stop, however, my electric power is still on in my dash and lights. What can cause this? I replaced my MAF, and the fuel filter. My mechanic thinks it has to do with the throttle body but I want some more opinions on what it could be.

 

I'm currently having the same problem, changing distributor and cap did not fix it.

Have you checked the timing?

 

No codes? No other symptoms?

I'd start looking at hoses and wires. I'd almost start looking at the ignition switch first.

 

Thanks, mine is a 1995. On another thread they mentioned something called the circuit opening relay switch. They replaced it and the problem was fixed.
