Engine shaking and running rough

My 2019 4 runner started running rough with engine shaking. Could bad gas cause this or what else could cause this?.. Just filled up with gas yesterday was fine on drive home This morning engine shaking.

 

I would check under the hood to ensure rodents didn’t chew up your injector wiring.

Have you reached out to the gas station to see if Diesel may have gotten swapped into the wrong tanks?

Check engine light on?

 

The black plastic engine cover will pop off with a strong pull up. Look for poop droppings on battery and other flat surfaces.
I have had mice under hood of my Accord and 4runner. So far only a nibble on insulation on Accord. A cotton tail bunny was under the hood one morning, but no chewing.
Several years ago mice ate the injector wires on my 1990 Ram Dodge van V8. Consumed the thin copper and insulation on 3 injectors.
I performed a tedious repair soldering stranded copper to the ends to replace missing copper. Then wrapped with Honda anti-rodent electric tape. Worked fine. Cleaned the engine of all their mess with spray soaps and hose. I put Tom Cat bait traps under hood and under vehicle
