Do you guys know how my load rating will change when I will switch from stock suspension to Eibach PRO-TRUCK LIFT SYSTEM (Stage 1)? My load rating is not great now, only 880 lb and I don't want to downgrade it further.

    Tinted fronts, blacked out overlays.
Honestly best bet is to call Eibach direct and ask them exactly what you want to know. Then let us all know what you find out. I have the Stage 1 Kit and I think the front coils are in the 600lbs range but don’t know for sure.

Are you talking about the spring rate of the individual coils? Or the cargo/payload load rating of the entire vehicle?

If you’re talking about payload, only toyota will give a payload rating for the vehicle as it leaves the factory. Coils and shocks are only one component of what goes into the system. There are a ton of other factors that engineers consider certifying capacities like payload.

Spring rates on coils are better thought of a way dial in the normal amount of weight you plan on carrying to guarantee the handling characteristics you want. For example, if you always run at 80% of factory gross vehicle weight limit, it’s best to use a spring rate that will hold the vehicle at the right stance (such as slightly nose low or level) in order to help with driving dynamics etc.

That said, safest to always use the toyota payload capacities, as listed by Toyota, as your general guide. And best to assume any mod we do to strengthen one thing on our trucks will just make breaking the next weakest link more likely. Forums like this are helpful with figuring out what usually breaks next in line.

Engineers always build in a safety factor into their weight ratings, so you’re probably not going to have a failure if you overload the vehicle by a bit, but it will affect the lifespan of components if you always run around overloaded. And obviously, the handling on and off-road will be different.
