    Please respond: 1999 2WD LTD.
    1. Are there any splines in the system with transmission at one end and differential on the other?
    2. If yes, how are the splines and their mating grooves lubricated? Are they packed with grease or any oil? If oil, is it the same as the transmission oil?
    3. Is it required to replenish this periodically? In an earlier discussion, it was indicated that there are no zerk fittings anywhere along the length, including the cardan joints.
    Can you clarify the above?
    Thanks very much.
