I just had an incident same damage almost just a fender and a bumper. And a little core support work, new wiper tank, I didn’t think I really needed that.

Seriously doubt it's totaled unless it is high milage and older. I just had similar damage to a 2018 Mazda3 and they repaired it. In Indiana they repair up to 70% of the cars value. Over 70% and they total it. With the price of 4runners, I don't think you are anywhere near that unless you have frame damage. You won't know until they get under it and look, there is not really a way to confirm without having it up in the air.

So far I am at 5 weeks and don't have my Mazda back. I would not expect a quick repair these days! Repairs on this one were $7700 and that included replacing the subframe(engine cradle), axle, tie rod ends, control arms, front bumper, body work on two doors, etc.

I couldn’t tell you what the insurance adjuster would say but I think it would be recoverable.

Sorry to see your truck in that condition. What happened?

Hoping it works out for you :sorry:

With it being a 2019/55k miles, I think they will repair it.

That doesn't look that bad. Did all the airbags go off? If you didn't have an airbag deployment, I don't see why they would total it.

Your post is too spartan.Add some more photos, and details etc.
As long as the frame is okay, all sheet metal parts can be repaired and all plastic parts like lights are off the shelf. It is going to be expensive but it's repairable. For reference, I had to get my hood repaired and painted and it was almost 1000 USD.
How bad is the lower left part of the radiator.

For reference, this is looking to be around $4500 worth of damage. Yours is obviously a bit worse, but I'll guess it's still under $10K.

No. The airbags did not go off. I was pulling through a parking lot and hit the concrete bottom on a light pole.

I have myself a mess over this.
I am worried about some frame damage.

Insurance totaled my Tacoma from pics alone. And my air bag never went off either. But I got a 4-Runner out of it.

Passenger side door doesn’t open well. Because of right front fender is creased. Plus other obvious damage in picture.

I am worried about frame. But I don’t have enough knowledge to know yes or no if it is bent. the stearing wheel dropped down like a clip broke.
    airbags did not go off.

    Try your best to relax!

The 4Runner is pretty tough. It takes a lot to total it out.

I don't think it is totaled either. I'm guessing between 8k and 10k for repairs. Depends on your location, and labor rates.

As said above, no one here will be able to tell you for sure. No reason to dwell on it, it's just sheet metal. If no one was hurt, that's a win.

You should know in less than a week if it is totaled or fixable.

I will agree, I do not think your insurance will declare your 4Runner a total loss. The value of the 4Runner is incredible; it would take a lot of damage for the insurance to deem it non-repairable. Based on the information you have provided such as your mileage, year, and the pictures, I'm confident in my assertion.

insurance people are crazy. my son spun his 2016 Camry a few months ago. 122k miles, book value ~ $9k. bashed up the hood and ripped the front fascia off. of course the body shop ran the damages up as they 'found hidden damage". total bill was just a little over $8k and Allstate actually paid it rather than total it out.

I'm betting it's over 10K worth of damage after you mentioned the door issues...but probably not totaled.

And if it is totaled — are they more than likely going to try to cut me short on the value of the vehicle ?

    Year and miles?

10-15k damage. Somewhat similar to mine.

not totaled without frame damage and it’s not a high mileage and a little older.
