    fit the 5.7 from Tundra in the 4Runner? Can a good mechanic pull this one off?

    Always debatable. Do it right, and it’s basically a tundra. Reliable. I have a good friend who does this with BMW’s. He has had zero issues, but he is swapping entire drive trains into wagons (M3 swap) Legit swap, you are gonna be good. But you need a drive train that will handle the swap. If it’s all the same. Why not? Different?? Yeah, you are going to have to think about breaking things. Just experience from being old

    I guess it's much better than supercharging the 4 liter or something, the V8 will be solid raw power, which will give the 4Runner some serious muscle :)
    The Grand Cherokee can carry a Hemi, then why can't the 4R carry the 5.7

    I’m an old school gear head. If it can be done, I will do it when this engine blows. Already planning a supercharger lol. Thank goodness, the girlfriend just rolls her eyes and let’s me do it. Stock engine on these are dogs. I cannot believe how slow it is ha!!
