HI! I was curious if I need to put on rear sway bar end links for a 3 inch life or if I am ok with just the fronts.

    Thanks Drew

What you need to do is lower it, otherwise your cv axles will tear boots like no one's business

You'll also need to relocate your panhard bar mount

3 inch lift here with about 16k-18k miles on it. CV boots are fine. A little more worn than when I did the lift. I imagine I'll get at least 30k more out of them.

I didn't need to do the end links. I have some...been meaning to put them on. Been just fine stock tho.

I have a 3" lift here with no diff drop. 5th gens don't require this. 3rd gens might...
CV boots and sway bars are fine on mine.

One of the most important things is the panhard bar. DRKDSS makes a bolt on solution to correct the geometry there. If you're asking about a 3rd gen you may have to weld a bracket in from SRQ or Opt Off Road PCK.

Correcting the sway bar links is ideal but not nearly as important as the panhard bar mounting location.

Edit: Be careful with aftermarket front links. If they break they will tear a CV boot. I'd recommend a relocation from for the front. Extended links for the rear.

The last time that I lifted a 3rd generation 4R in the rear I was definitely glad to have extended links. I would get the links and if you decide that you don't need them just return them.

I have a 3" lift on mine they have a spacer kit for sway bars that allow you to use the stock end links they measure about a inch I needed new end links anyway so I run the stock 3rd gen front end end links on the rear and 2nd gen Toyota 4Runner rear end links on the front as for the cv axles I've got 54xxx miles out of mine just now getting ready to change them
