I have a 90 3vze and at the moment Im trying to do a basic tune up on it (spark plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor) mainly because it has newer 3vze wires and cap on it from the last owner. My main question is there a major difference in dist cap design as the 3vze got older? I bought a bosch cap and threw it on but only two out of three of the screws line up.

NEVER buy aftermarket ignition parts. Go to the dealer, get out your wallet and buy cap, rotor, wires and coil. I did use an aftermarket igniter, it seems.to ..Ignite. Stay with Denso and stay off alcohol.
