    Hey guys!

Just bought an 07 4runner and am starting to make my list of things to fix before I start the aftermarket stuff. I didn't get to drive this thing at night until this last weekend, and I noticed the display that shows fuel range, the clock, etc doesn't light up. Is it suppose to? If so, is it possible to replace that bulb or is it build into the display?

    Thanks!

My 08 v8 Limited clock light just burnt out halfway, so only the left side is still lit, gonna get in there and see if a cable came loose or got pinched, or if it's just the LEDs that need replacement. Thinking of doing a complete overhaul of the dash anyway, so I should get some ideas while I'm in there.

To answer your question, yes it should light up at night assuming you have the light selection to the right level. There is also a dimmer knob on the door side of the steering wheel that controls how bright all of your dash lights are, but assuming your driver panel is lit up bright, you may need to replace some bulbs/lcds in the clock.

It lit up in my '03, but eventually failed.

When I bought mine one of the bulbs on that display was dead. The bulb was like $3 at the dealer and it took ~30 minutes to replace it. There's two or three of them behind there.
