Hey guys! Me and my girl are headed up to the Smokey mountains this weekend.

Im familiar with the Harmon Den area and Pisgah National Forest to the east and know there’s a lot of dispersed camping and areas to pitch an RTT there, but gonna be closer to the clingmans dome area this go around.

does anyone know of any great spots or mild trails to get away from the campgrounds and camp a bit more remotely? We don’t mind venturing away from that area to camp I just would love to find some unique spots rather than a campground if possible.

    Thanks!
