Im curious..since it pootin down tbe snow right now..i thought i ask as the title states.
Myself...it was about 15 inches...grew some balls one night n decided to venture into some state forest roads in the middle of the night. It was fun for a while until i made a turn onto another forest road n slid into a shallow culvert. Could move back n forth about 2 ft...finally got out n kicked out some snow n finally got out.
Found a spot to turn around n went back the way i came...
Just thought id like to hear some of your guys excursions n drives....

3 feet. I got about 5 feet and bogged down permanently. We were at a cabin in the mountains and were surprised by the big snow. Had to walk 3 miles to the nearest plowed road. Got the 4runner back 2 weeks later after a big rainstorm melted all the snow.

Ok, not my 'runner, but after the Groundhog Day blizzard in 2011, I drove my disco thru drifts over 36", pulled my jackass neighbors' lifted Silverado out of the alley, and pulled a village plow back onto the street from the crown of the sidewalk. I did have 33's, a 3"lift and a lot of weight, full armour underneath and a Rovertym front with a Warn xd 9000. Sometimes I really miss that beast. Then I remember the electrical nightmares...on to a 4runner!

2 years ago in stock SR5 in New Mexico going up a unplowed paved mountain pass with about 5 inches already on the ground snowing harder as we went up and was getting deeper with the snow blowing up over the hood As we started down the other side of the pass about 3/4 of mile down I came to a complete stop. When I got out the snow was up to the bottom of the door and up to my knees. When I got around to the front the was snow was packed up against the body half way up, reason why I came to a stop, I was basically a snow plow. I was able to back up about 50 feet and turn around and followed my tracks back off the pass. There wasn't any other traffic which was cool having the road to myself. I thought it was pretty exciting, sister said not....lol. For being a stock SR5.and only using 4high, she did good.
