Anyone know what the switch knockout was for, right side of steering wheel, on 2022 limited? I see is for heated steering wheel on the 2023s.

It was the 'PARTY MODE' switch on older models.

I’ve got the same blank on my 2021 OR and used the location for my “Anytime Front / Rear Camera” switch…..

what the heck was “party mode”??

I was planning on using it for an RJ-45 pass through for a 2-way radio

For tailgating. "raises the bass and transfers the equalization to the rear of the vehicle."

My party mode is on the right side of the wheel.

It over rides speakers and push more to the rear hatch. Supposed to be used when it’s open for tailgating and stuff.

I have Party Mode, but when I hit it strippers show up. Is this a regional thing or maybe a port installation?

It’s always been a blank switch for whatever your little heart desires. You pick your poison for anything prior to a 2023 (limited, pro, premium) as the other 2023s will still have a blank cover

For those who said Party Mode is a joke, look it up and be entertained. It made the rear hatch speakers perform in a way to allow for music to be tailgate friendly or something. I think it went away in the 2014 refresh.

As for what is there for me? I put in a usb 3.0 fast charge socket and wired it up so I could charge phones and stuff. Something like this:
