    I hit a deer going 80 mph.

After all the repairs were completed.

It cuts out and sometimes needs restarted. Even that doesn't work at times

Note: local shop with good reputation has replaced the Tps and throttle body. They want a 3rd appointment to hook up a diagnostic.

    What's wrong with my 2011 4runner?

Was the deer going 80 to get away from you? :rimshot:

Sorry...sounds like something is still messed up. Good luck with the diagnosis and repair.

I should have asked the deer.

Does anyone have a good idea of why its cuts out an/or loses rpms at times.

I worry that it may injure myself or someone else because its random but always after its warmed up.

    Vague? Its completely accurate.

Is there some other information I left out? Atmospheric pressure, the humidity or temperature, perhaps?

I described it to a tee and listed the new parts that were thrown at it. I disagreed with their reasoning both times and now they want to fo what they should have done first. Its under warranty but that is also irrelevant.

It's not "completely accurate". I was a drive-ability tech for over 25 years - yes you did leave out some details.

    1. Does the issue occur at cruise speeds, light throttle, heavy acceleration or any condition?
    2. When it "cuts out" is it like turning the key off/on or more like fuel starvation?
    3. Is it a consistent issue or sporadic - the latter is usually more difficult to diagnose.

All these little details are helpful in diagnosing the problem. I'm also (like others have stated) leaning toward a hit & miss grounding issue or electrical connection fault. Try a wiggle check of your engine wiring harness while engine is at idle - note any changes in rpm or engine sound which may lead you to the problem.

I’m with him ^ “It cuts out and sometimes needs restarted.” is not a description of a drivability problem.

Probably electrical. Potentially a fuel delivery issue, as well?

Sounds a little like when the fuel pump on my old 1990 Lincoln Town Car failed...
