Cracked Extension Housing

    Any thoughts ? In rebuilding the R150f I noticed what appears to be a crack in the extension housing!
    The first photo seems to show more damage than the other side. IMG_2450.jpg IMG_2451.jpg

    I don't see a crack - do you mean that globby aluminum in the corner? The casting on those is pretty sloppy a lot of times. There's no fluid in there - or shouldn't be - so unless you're running into issues, I don't think you have a problem.

    That’s my question I guess - if it was a crack or bad casting - hard for me to tell.

    Looks more like surface porosity caused by slag/debris in the mold.
