Hello, first time posting over here in 3rd Gen.

I am considering the 3.4 swap for my 94. But before I make a decision I would like more information on the 3.4. I'm very familiar with all of the short comings of the 3.0, but I know next to nothing about issues people are having with the 3.4.

My general understanding is that it is an upgrade in every way compared to the 3.0, more torque and power for same fuel mileage, better to work on, more reliable, etc. But to what degree are all these things true? If I'm going to drop this kind of cash, I'm hoping to know more about this engine that I'm looking to get married to. Any and all stories, tales, info, and all other manner of deets on this engine are welcome, anecdotal or otherwise.

I'm particularly interested in common/known problems, bad tendencies, nuisances working on it, and other generally bad things. I've heard plenty of the good, want to make sure I'm covering my a**
