    Hello everyone,
Needing to replace front end on my 2000 SR5 two wheel drive. After looking around and being on a budget I came across complete front end kits on Amazon. These kits include everything from the upper and lower ball joints, control arms, and so forth. Has anyone tried these and can vouch for their worthiness? I'm skeptical only because of the price compared to reputable brands. Any suggestions on which brand, company, type, or website I should look into I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the add.

I'm not sure which exact kit you're looking at, but my general rule is that if a price looks to good to be true, it probably is.

I recently watched a video comparing cheap amz parts to OEM quality parts, unfortunately I don't remember which channel it was on.

In a nutshell, they initially saved money on the part, but needed to redo the job a few months later after the part failed.

If you're just trying to get it road worthy enough to trade in, fine, but if you're going to keep it long term, I'd spend the money on quality parts. Especially steering parts, you're talking potentially life or death if a steering component fails.
