Color matched Grill Letters

    IMG_1014.jpg Looking to color match my grill letters to match just like this picture I found off the internet. ‘22 silver SR5 just like the one in the pic. Anyone have any paint recommendations? (Color/brand)

    I guess it would be fine for grill letters in front of the black background of the grill but just sharing my experience with this, I used it to paint my bumper after the cut but its not a perfect match. Since I used painters tape it wasn't ugly but had a perfect line of color difference and it been at the bottom of the bumper its wasn't a big deal.

    I almost added that in @kmeeg
    These cans aren't great for blending panels but are good for small touch ups.

    Being that this isn't directly next to another body panel and has the black background of the grille, it should look just fine.
    I remember one member did this with just some silver Krylon to match the pillar badges and rear badges to the oem dark silver on the grill letters.
    It wasn't a perfect match but looked fine because it wasn't near each other.

    great idea - i did the opposite - i painted the bar and left the letters off - i never even thought about doing it that way but now that i think about it , that would look great [​IMG]
