Cold start trouble

    98 4runner 3.4 Auto
    got a 98 4runner v6 that has a p0446 code stored my charcoal canister is leaking I was wondering would that cause the vehicle to take forever to start when it's been sitting. It would take me a couple tries before it actually starts. When it cranks it just cranks only turning over not sputtering to turn on.

    I don't see how. Sounds more like a weak fuel pump to be honest.

    Don't think the charcoal cannister would cause that. If the vehicle has been sitting the battery could be weak. Get it tested.
