Has anyone who installed a CAI have the "check engine" light come on?

Assuming you did so check all the connectors and hoses are put back.

Also depending on what you bought hope filter wasn't drenched in oil or sensors may need cleaning.

Yes, double checked all that. Just wondering if others have had this issue.

On my Tacoma, I had this problem because one of the hoses wasn’t fully seated. Made sure I avoided this with the 4Runner and what a PITA. I’d recommend making sure all of the hoses are secure, could be as simple as air getting in somewhere after the sensor.

Hi! Brand new here. Will post up in Introductions when the new ride gets here. (It’s in a boat off NY at the moment)

My 2016 Tundra throws the check eng whenever I install the High Flow filters. It’s a P0101 and basically means your MAF is registering too much air. Not sure if the same code is being tossed by the 4R, but I’ll make the assumption that both ECU’s are based off similar diagnostic schedules.
I run a scan gauge in the Tundra to see/check/clear these codes on the fly, plus I can see live Tranny temps.

Not sure if that helps or not.
