I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out some potential culprits of this chirping noise. It only happens in the 1500-2000 rpm range. Changed alternator, belts and tensioner pulley with no luck. Any help would be much appreciated! https://youtube.com/shorts/0Qsa_GCyeHA?feature=share

Can you still hear the chirping with the vehicle not moving? If so, open the hood and see of you can tell where the noise is coming from. Other than this what about the AC clutch? If you were to turn on your AC, will it affect the chirping sound? The other culprit could be the radiator fan clutch.

Thanks for the reply! I doesn’t make the noise when not moving, so no go there. I have tested adjusting the A/C and it doesn’t seem to make any difference. The radiator clutch fan is a good idea! Do you know any ways to test if it’s gone bad? Thanks so much for the input!

Regarding the AC what I had meant was that turn the AC on. This should engage the compressor clutch. If the noise goes away then it the issue has to be the AC clutch. I don't know of a good way to test the fan clutch. Having said this if it were the fan clutch, I would have expected the noise to be there with the vehicle not moving.

Another thing to check for is whether the chirping is affected by the cabin air settings or not. For example: re-circulation off vs. on, blower on/off, air routings, ..., etc.

Thanks Matt. I will check both of those. Hopefully one of those is it! That chirping is driving me mad!

Yeah, fan clutch is the only thing that makes sense.
