I'm looking at a set of wheels with a -25 offset. Apparently they only come in this offset. I'm worried about rubbing. I have a 2in lift up front and running 275/70/17 tires and I have no desire to do any chopping of the front bumper. I know 285s would be out of the question, but should I be concerned about rubbing with the -25 offset? Or is the thickness of tire more of a concern when it comes to rubbing? Or both? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm just looking for some feedback/thoughts.

Wheel dimensions play a bigger role with tire tub. That offset will most likely cause rubbing FYI. Stick with something under -10mm and no wider than 8 if you want to minimize the chances of having tire rub.

"Either way, if you want to run 285/70R17 tires, you are more than likely going trim. This whole process is really simple and as long as you are somewhat handy, you should be fine. The next common size down would be 275/70R17 and with that tire, you are probably in the clear but you still may have slight rubbing. If you go with a 275/70R17 and end up with trimming, this guide will work for you as well."
