Carbon fiber center console replacement

I just got a new 2023 ORP and i love everything about it except that carbon fiber center console gear shift trim. Its the only thing in carbon fiber and looks…meh

i can only find carbon fiber and red replacements. Any idea where to get other options?

 

I know the 2016's have a sparkly black/graphite center console. Order one of those and you should be set. Make sure to get the Off Road or Pro version for the 4wd shifter, not the Limited/SR5.

Edit: OK I just searched myself and strangely there aren't any available as far as I can tell. Weird they are vaporware.

Have you considered getting yours wrapped?

My 2022 ORP is the same. Carbon fiber only on the console and the goofy black fantasy sparkle everywhere else. If I were to change it, I’d want all carbon fiber rather than black fantasy sparkle.

it's a kit for $200, but i dunnno

 

I took a glance at that link and noticed two things. One is that it looks like the appliqués are attached with a liquid glue, which suggests there’s no going back. The other is that all the photos are small or low resolution - almost like they don’t want you to get a close look.

 

no doubt, I think i'm out of luck until i find a place that sells the 3d overlays. hopefully they dont look crappy. thanks Captain! have a great 4th.

 

They put carbon fiber to save weight for MPG.

Joking aside, I too think the fake carbon fiber doesn’t fit a vehicle like the 4R. I would have preferred a plain black that doesn’t look like I’m about to race Verstappen with my truck

 

I think the oem “carbon fiber” looks great. Just me. I prefer it than just a boring neutral color like black or silver

 

I kind of like the carbon.. Previous post says this is the part number for a gloss black one 5880535210.

 

I never understood the carbon fiber center console. I mean its a 4runner not a race car.

I found a silver overlay on Amazon. But I doubt that helps

 

It's better than the stock bland painted silver plastic Toyota loves so much.

You could order the dash surround for around the A/C, Heater, & Audio console in carbon fiber to add more to the mix...
