My 95 4runner recently died. I charged the battery for about 10 minutes and then all of the lights on the car even the dash lights and the license plate lights were flashing. There was also a clicking noise near the fuse box by my feet on the driver side. The key will turn but there are no clicking sounds and the engine wont even try starting. Any ideas?

    I'd try a new battery.

Sounds like not enough juice to turn the starter.

A battery will last 4 years max... than throw it away and buy a new one. I've had about 15 12 volt batteries in my boat and cars and 4runner, and that's as long as they last.
