I have been having issues with my 5th gen 4runner wheels not being hub-centric which is causing uneven tread wear on my tires. This has caused me to have to replace my tires much too often. I don't want to replace my lift kit or anything like that if possible. Can replacing the wheels on my 4runner fix this issue? If so what are some good wheel options? I am running Toyo Open Country 32s.

I've looked into getting new spacers and/or a lift kit and specifically liked Spider Trax spacers and Bilstein 5100 lift system. If I were to swap my lift kit and/or spacers, would you recommend I swap my whole suspension system? If so, any suggestions? I would only swap my suspension if I really needed to as I am on somewhat of a budget.

4runners have lug centric wheels from the factory. Why would you want a hub centric wheel? I would think trying to use hub centric wheels would cause more of an issue. What wheels do have now?

bad tire wear is usually due to misaligned front end and/or tire imbalance issues.

Unfortunately, I bought the 4runner used and it came with aftermarket wheels.

    Your car or rims?

I've always thought the 4R was hub centric.
