Bypassing the charcoal canister

    Does anyone here know of a way to bypass the charcoal canister so the lights on the dash { VSC Off VSC Trac} don't come on every couple hundred miles after you reset the computer? I don't notice any difference in the performance whether they are on or off.

    Not really anything verifiable... There were some attempts made there and some people saying they got it working.

    Problem is probably 2001 and 2002 is more picky about the system and any mod will throw the code.

    I rebuilt my evap system and it's been good for a few years now. About $700 in Genuine TOYOTA parts.

    You didn't have to replace the charcoal canister?
