Bumper Cover Repair

    If this is not the right forum, please correct me without flaming me.

    I was clipped twice in parking lots, with the driver side front corner. The bumper cover is torn.

    Since the damage is only in this one place,
    how can the plastic be fastened back together?

    plastic backing plate with rivets and epoxy ?
    or...?

    Oof, that sucks. I haven't really heard of anyone repairing a ripped bumper. I'm curious to see what you come up with.

    I had a similar issue when I kissed a guard rail.

    I replaced it with an aluminum plate bumper. A body shop wanted over a grand to replace and paint match. I paid $2000 to install a bumper and winch.
