Brighter gear indicator lights

Here is something I thought of when I had all pieces removed thinking of a different mod I am working on. This is an idea of what to do to get brighter gear indicator lights. My vehicle is a 2015 and the factory bulb is not as bright blue as it used to be. I haven't worked out all the details yet but this should give you a good idea of what to do.

Pic 1 - You can remove or keep the clear plastic depending on type of lighting you use.
Pic 2 - Idea of where to place your strip lights.
Pic 3 - Where to get power from, only 2 wires - green is power and white is ground IIRC.
Pic 4 - Before and after shot. This was done in the day so would be more brighter and noticeable during night time.
