There is a Tundra brake upgrade that you can do.

THe Tundra brake upgrade is the easiest. You only have to do a bit of cutting orbanging the dust sheild to get the calipers to fit. You will also need an offest so the calipers do not hit the rims. 5mm should do it. I have this on my 1997 and it has helped ALOT.
