    Hey Everyone,

I just traded in my 2014 4runner for a 2016 4runner SR5. I have noticed this strange feeling when i brake....it feels like a click, I can both hear it, and feel it in my foot....it is very noticeable. After the click, there is an electronic sound. This happens pretty frequently when applying the brakes....not every time, but i'd say 40-50% of the time. I had nothing like this on my 2014 Runner. Is anyone familiar with this issue? I find it hard to believe that this would be considered "normal". If anyone has had a similar issue, did you have it fixed? Thanks in advance

Sounds like the ABS is kicking in. Weird that it would be doing it so often. I'd have it checked out by your dealer or a trusted independent mechanic.

Just want to be clear and say this feeling/sound is coming from the Brake Pedal itself, not the brakes....I should have been more clear on my title

When the ABS kicks in it can be felt in the pedal.

Yeah sounds like ABS/Trac issue. I'm guessing this would be a Toyota service center visit kinda situation... unfortunately. Good luck!
