Trying to Blackout my T4R Limited. Finding it difficult to find the Limited Blackout Emblems. I have found overlays but wonder if they are trash or not.

Anyone have luck with this? Or have used overlays and they have worked?

    Thanks.

I've seen plenty of people have luck with the overlays. I've also seen lots of people have luck with Plasti-Dip.

I used the overlays on mine, worked great. Couldn't really tell it was an overlay (they're thin, and fit with a very tight tolerance), and never lost one in the carwash or offroad.

@edgesalon Do you ever have issues with them if you run through the carwash? That was my only hesitation

I have overlays as well, got them from Runnin 4 Tacos, great thick quality, great customer service and cheaper than oem.
So far they seem pretty resilient, only negative is if you need to remove them for whatever reason, the sticky back is so strong it'll rip the original emblem off too, at least it did on mine.

I used the OEM Toyota ones, just put them on a couple days ago. Quality seems typical OEM, good quality adhesive and a tight fit.

the overlays look good and hold up well. only ones I don't like is the c-pillar SR5 ones, all the spaces between the letters are filled and they look a little cheap. I think the ones for Limited are similar. I have vinyl decals from TVD vinyl on mine. went on easy and looks great after almost 2 years of baking in the Florida sun.

I have oem blackout overlays for the Toyota logo and 4runner logo if you’re interested. However I don’t have the limited ones.
