    Hi all!
    After a few years of regrets I'm back in the 4runner club. Just picked up a 2018 sr5 4x4 7 seater (for the kid and their friends). Wanted to phase out our 2017 Chevy Colorado Duramax 4x4, that although a absolute dream to drive and tow off-road with, is a ticking time bomb. Already had to replace the transmission at 70k.     I have owned a 1st gen 4runner off and on since 2006, the same one. I have bought and sold it 3 times since then. I just kept fixing it up. The last time was a full bottom up rebuild. Then I needed money for the kids, and sold it. :(The Betty Goat project.jpg

    Anyway: Plan for the new rig is to make it a capable family hauler , that can tow our Scout trailer with out scaring the crap out of the wife on the freeway, and take me on some moderate offroad adventures to seek surf in Baja and solitude in the mountains. Any suggestions on suspension set ups to that affect would be greatly appreciated.
