My DIY is 6'x9' and totally blocks sun with the shiny aluminized coating. It take almost no space in Garage where it lives untill a camping trip.
I can easily set up either side of 4runner. Two Adjustable poles and guy ropes with a variety of stakes allows set up anywhere.I travel with it inside truck so no wind noise. Set up is quick.
