It's been OOS on Amazon for almost two months. OOS at many other online retailers, too. A few on eBay for $100+ which I guess I'll just wait if that's the case.

Anyone know why these seem to be so unavailable?

I got mine at Parts Hawk or Geek or something. I have one sitting in the garage but shipping for oversized will eat you alive.

Depends on the measurements/weight of the box. I can get really cheap shipping rates.

Try Summit Racing, Jegs, Real Truck, RockAuto, Carparts.com, Parts Hawk, Google it, Walmart. I'm Walmart+ member and they have everything like Amazon now. I know you probably already know of these. Extreme Terrain is where I been getting most my stuff and fast shipping, military, responder discounts. I will sell you this one for $50 and you pay shipping if you have no luck. I'm in Tennessee so not to far away.

I just checked old emails. I ordered mine (AVS-25053) on RealTruck for $65.99 shipped on 5/28/2023 and received it on 6/5/2023. It's been great. Def recommend.

The Aeroskin ones are stick-on with adhesive tape. The Bugflector ones attach with screws and sit above the painted surface of the hood. I put a Bugflector on my 2021 and it was still perfect last week when I took it off. I put it on my new 2024 yesterday and it looks great. And I’m a car wash membership guy who goes through at least twice a week and lots of weeks 3 or more times. When I got mine I didn’t spend the extra for the Bugflector II and I can’t say I regret that decision.

For what it’s worth, I had the Aeroskin on my 2015 F-150. It came loose while I was going 60 and rapidly flopped against the hood, gashing the metal pretty bad. I wouldn’t recommend it knowing what I know now.

When you transferred the deflector from one vehicle to another, were you able to remove the little plastic inserts that the screws screw into?

Yes I did, but I dropped one and couldn’t find it so I picked some up at the parts house. I think a package of 10 was $4. It was very, very easy to do.

The AVS bug deflector 2 really complements the front end. Almost looks OEM like it belongs there. Zero contact with paint on top of the hood and is still very low profile. Barely even see it from the drivers seat. Totally stops chips on the hood from road debris.

I actually just got some 1" wide ppf today in case it rubs. I'm going to put some along the bottom edge of the tailgate too.

I've never had a bug deflector, do they work? I don't see how that could generate enough lifting air to force anything but a butterfly over the top of the car. I do think they look good, particularly on Beachguy with the red and black

They don’t deflect bugs from the windshield that I can tell. These windshields are just too upright for any deflector to accomplish that.
