Auto off headlights?

Did we always have this feature?

I recently installed a dash sensor and now note that if I leave my headlights on and turn off the car, the headlights will go off on their own in a short amount of time.

I'd swear that was not the case previously for me.



Link goes to the other board: Edited to add the sensor automatically dims the dash and navigation when its dark out. No need to mess with the dial.

 

Yes, it’s always been the case lol.

if you double tap lock button they’ll turn off instantly instead of timing out

 

I would've sworn only my DRLs were auto off previously.

Our 2020 ORP has auto off headlights.... but it does NOT have auto on headlights, which I kind of miss from our Tacoma.
