...I start tearing apart the truck I haven’t made a payment on yet? I wanna do a mild front lift to get rid of some of the rake so I bought the 1” cornfed spacers.

I did the whole coil over / aal / and ecgs bushing on my taco by myself but am kinda leery on the 4 runner. Anything unexpected y guys run into to? I’ve watched some vids and it looks very similar to the taco suspension.

I had to swing the sway bar out of the way to get enough clearance to get the strut out. 2018 SR5. Just did the CornFed spacer last week. Getting the sway bar bolts back in was a little tricky without dropping the skid plate, but we managed.

You need to take out the rearward bolts only on the sway bar brackets. Just loosen the front bolts, the bracket is slotted.

Follow the Toyota factory install instructions (as much as possible) and it's easy. It's not necessary to mess with sway bar, but removing the skid plate is required to access the lower control arm bolts which need to be loosened so that you can drop down the lower mount enough and out of the way for coil-over removal / installation.

Went smooth. I had to move the sway bar as well.
